Mission Statement:

The mission of the Accounts Payable Analyst is to ensure accurate and timely processing of Trust maintenance event invoices, credit memos and vendor payments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • New vendor creation and maintenance.
  • Handle Trust and JSSI Parts weekly pay cycle.
  • Handle rush payments for Trust and JSSI Parts, as applicable.
  • Entering approved JSSI Parts invoices.
  • Trust vendor invoice approvals in AMS Tech.
  • Daily review and resolution of failed invoices.
  • JSSI Parts Purchasing Card Reconciliation.
  • Filing of accounts payables documents for all entities.
  • Uploading and transcribing Trust invoices in AMS Tech, as applicable.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and requests submitted to Accounts Payable.
  • Review statements for vendors as assigned by Manager to ensure receipt and accuracy of all vendor invoices and application of credit memos.
  • Address a complexity of issues (i.e. resolve vendor payment disputes) requiring immediate attention and resolution.
  • Serve as support to UK Accounts Payable staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years full cycle AP experience including vendor maintenance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires attention to detail
  • Ability to follow through on open items resolution
  • Take initiative in regular process improvements
  • Experience with Great Plains is a plus;  Microsoft Office is a must
  • Intermediate Excel skills

Position Summary:

The mission of the Aircraft Maintenance Pricing Analyst is to assist the Pricing Manager in the administration of the JSSI airframe/engine programs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Collect cost data from functional representatives, contractors and vendors
  2. Compute cost estimates of material procurement, repair, replenishment and transportation
  3. Prepare and maintain historical cost data
  4. Create cost models for cost estimating elements
  5. Prepare cost reports and present findings to management
  6. Utilize cost data to construct profitable pricing models
  7. Provide on-going reporting to Pricing Manager in support of price revisions and updating as required
  8. Maintain Master Price Lists
  9. Research and calculate airframe rates for new, transfer and renewal contracts

  15. Communicate changes to inspection requirements to the Technical Services field reps
  16. Research Service Bulletin and Airworthiness Directives as required

Additional Responsibilities

Desired Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Aviation Related)
  • 2-3 years aviation technical experience
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and logistics
  • Working knowledge of aircraft inspection requirements
  • Experience with maintenance planning and forecasting is a plus
  • Maintenance Controller experience a plus
  • Ability to ensure a factual audit trail is established for all pricing efforts supporting contract proposals

POSITION SUMMARY:

1) Heavily involved in helping plan for major scheduled inspections, in addition to assisting with the immediate logistics as they pertain to unscheduled events
2) On-site representation, especially with respect to major scheduled inspections
3) Create Service Calls that aid in the tracking of technical data and financial forecasting
4) Develops and maintains client relationships through periodic contact.
5) Grow and maintain relationships with regional service facilities, mobile repair teams, etc.
6) Research logbooks and/or conduct visual inspections for new enrollments or existing contracts.
7) Review and process invoices in AMS, meeting turn time goals set forth by Technical
Services Management and policy.
8) Responsible for event triage, assessing and ensuring each situation is handled appropriately
9) Must have a thorough understanding of the current contract, policies and procedures
10) Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Technical Services Management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
*Fluency in reading, writing and speaking Spanish is REQUIRED for this position

Position Summary:

The General Manager - JSSI Parts will partner with the leader of the Parts business, the Senior Director of Procurement, to successfully accomplish two main goals of the business: (1) to lower the cost of JSSI maintenance events; and (2) to optimize third party selling and buying of parts.  The General Manager will work collaboratively with internal and external resources to ensure that best practices are identified and implemented, that JSSI Parts is capitalizing on every profitable opportunity, and that team learning and growing is both relevant and ongoing.  The General Manager will provide daily oversight to the overall operations of the JSSI Parts Team in two critical areas: (1) Leadership & Strategy; and (2) Operational Excellence. 

Position Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

Utilize business expertise to provide leadership to the JSSI Purchasing Team and foster strategic thinking throughout the team through the following activities:

  1. Identify coaching and mentoring opportunities to impart knowledge to JSSI Purchasing team members and the JSSI community at large
  2. Transform the Purchasing Team from reactive to strategic and forward looking
  3. Collaborate with Senior Director of Procurement in the leadership of JSSI Parts and Purchasing teams to achieve all financial, non-financial and supplier measurements goals
  4. Develop and implement modern logistics and inventory management strategies for efficient product tracking, routing and distribution
  5. Manage assigned budgets, in cooperation with the respective divisions (Parts trading, Jet Engine Leasing, and Purchasing) to achieve goals and objectives
  6. Plan and achieve savings to the JSSI budget
  7. Develop standard practice and cadence for measuring and communicating performance with internal management, suppliers and customers
  8. Create and update multi-year business plans

Operational Excellence

Utilize business expertise and knowledge to enhance JSSI’s operational excellence in logistics, IT systems, revenue and process improvement, technical services support and parts vendor management through the following activities:

  1. Support the Purchasing Team by establishing enhanced procedures with respect to finding target aircraft for acquisitions, overseeing financial analyses of such aircraft and the ultimate purchase, dismantling, and re-selling of serviceable parts on such aircraft
  2. Drive core supply chain performance including delivery cost and quality
  3. Create vendor matrix to manage vendor and quality control to ensure that parts are sourced, re-sold and dispatched at an optimal level
  4. Serve as JSSI’s subject matter expert on IT systems which manage parts entry, purchase, and resale (i.e. Quantum or other applicable systems) 
  5. Continue to develop expertise on technical aspects of the various engines, APUs and airframes that the JSSI Parts and Purchasing Team handles
  6. Support JSSI Parts team with needed focus and attention to process development, analytics structure and best practices
  7. Identify additional parts distribution channels to ensure consistent growth in JSSI Parts’ revenues
  8. Lead implementation and documentation of best practices, strategies, policies and procedures for purchasing, logistics and key deliverables
  9. Identify opportunities across business unit to leverage spend and relationships
  10. Identify big picture strategies and opportunities to increase revenue from surplus spares buying and selling
  11. Reduce costs of maintenance events through utilization of existing JSSI Parts inventory
  12. Support JSSI’s Technical Services Team by forecasting and supplying parts and components for future JSSI scheduled maintenance events
  13. Serve as point of contact with Maintenance and Repair Organizations, with an end-goal of establishing significantly favorable pricing terms through Memoranda of Understanding
  14. Develop and implement strategies to establish JSSI parts as the supplier of choice for all JSSI-covered scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events
  15. Oversee parts distributions to MROs/Technical Advisors for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events

Desired Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • Ten years’ experience in progressively responsible aviation roles

Position Summary:

The mission of the SQL Reports Developer is to be a technical expert on the IT team who will be responsible for analysis, design, development, implementation of analytical and business intelligence reporting solutions for JSSI, and to ensure integrity of data. In addition, the BI Report Developer will be engaging in various customer-facing tasks such as basic requirements-gathering and must be able to provide effective reporting solutions for presented issues. This role will involve daily communications with both IT & non-IT staff; therefore a diverse range of communication styles must be present. Providing technical guidance on a regular basis is also required. The candidate should have advanced-level SQL and BI skills and will utilize a variety of BI and reporting tools such as Microsoft Reporting Services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a full suite of BI reporting products that provide real business value and improve information worker efficiency in a complex database environment comprised of SQL Server 2008, 2012 relational databases.
  • Support a wide range of users from Analyst to Executive Management roles, by responding quickly to user needs and developing report products in a timely manner.
  • Analyze requirements and interact with users and designers to determine the data sets required to meet the users' needs.

Position Summary:
The mission of the Treasury & Corporate Development Manager is to contribute to the
Company’s success by ensuring an efficient banking structure with support for all aspects of the Company’s global operations. The Manager will support the Company’s Treasury Operations activities through use and further development of cash forecasting and cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company. As part of the Corporate  Development function, the Manager will be heavily involved in the global acquisition program for the Company and participate in the analysis, valuation, negotiation and documentation of potential acquisition transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain corporate banking portfolio by coordinating bank account openings, closings,
changes and updates to authorized signatories by preparing all required legal documentation, maintaining banking relationships both domestic and foreign.
2. Perform daily cash management and create consolidated cash position reports for
senior management.
3. Analyze and review all operational cash flows for the organization and assure each
entity has the optimal cash to conduct business.
4. Work closely with the Finance Manager in the forecasting of the short term and long
term financial position of the company, the preparation of the annual budget and completion of monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
5. Evaluate need for the procurement of funds and investment of surplus.
6. Contribute to the global cash and foreign exchange strategy and management.
7. Assist with Treasury audit requests.
8. Manage and report external and intercompany loan transactions.
9. Process, document and monitor Letters of Credit.
10. Support Standby Letters of Credit, bank guarantee requirements and prepare loan
compliance reports.
11. Serve as Assistant Treasurer of our captive insurance company, Aviation Insurance
Corporation (AIC). Work closely with the Manager of Insurance Services regarding risk
management activities including the coordination of loss control services via third party
insurance and our captive insurance company.
12. Effectively partner with other key internal customers (Accounting, Tax, etc.) to resolve
issues and identify opportunities to improve process performance.
13. Work closely with the Vice President – FP&A on acquisition strategy, searches,
evaluations and contract negotiations.

Additional Responsibilities

Education and Experience:
• Financial professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
