Medical Plans
JSSI offers three high-quality medical plan options through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, giving employees flexibility to choose the coverage that best fits their needs.
PPO Plan. Covers 90% of in-network services after a $250 individual / $750 family deductible, offering broad provider access and predictable coverage.
HMO Plan. Available to Illinois-based employees, providing coordinated care through a Primary Care Provider and in-network specialists.
High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Features lower per-paycheck premiums with a higher deductible, making it a cost-effective option for those who prefer to pay less upfront and use medical services as needed. The HDHP is Health Savings Account (HSA) eligible, allowing employees to contribute pretax dollars to a Health Savings Account. JSSI also contributes to our employees HSA on a quarterly basis.
Dental Plan
JSSI’s dental plan, provided through Guardian, offers both in-network and out-of-network coverage with a $1,500 annual benefit. Preventive care is covered at 100%, and children are eligible for orthodontia coverage with a $1,500 lifetime maximum.
Vision Plan
JSSI offers vision coverage through Guardian’s Davis Vision network. With an in-network provider, employees receive an annual eye exam for a $10 copay and an allowance for frames and contact lenses.
Flex Spending Account (FSA)
JSSI offers an FSA through BRI, enabling team members to save money by using pre-tax dollars for eligible health and dependent care expenses.
Disability Insurance
All benefit-eligible team members receive company-paid short-term (STD) and long-term disability (LTD) coverage through Guardian.
Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)
This company paid benefit provides a $15,000 benefit for all full-time team members. The AD&D benefit is equal to the life insurance benefit.
Voluntary Benefits
All team members can purchase voluntary benefits, including additional life insurance and AD&D for themselves, their spouse, or children. Supplemental coverage options like accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance are also available to help protect against unexpected medical expenses not covered by standard insurance.
Additional Benefits
JSSI offers a variety of additional benefits, including commuter benefits, pet insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and employee discounts through LifeMart, a marketplace offering perks at various retailers and services. We also provide will preparation services.
JSSI USA Flexible Time Off (“FTO”)
JSSI’s Flexible Time Off (FTO) policy allows eligible salaried U.S. employees to take time off as needed, without a cap, while ensuring job responsibilities are met. This policy excludes hourly employees, interns, temporary staff, and third-party agency employees. Employees should manage their time off responsibly, maintaining open communication with managers and colleagues to support team productivity. FTO is built on mutual trust, empowering employees to balance work and personal time effectively.
Parental Leave Policy
At JSSI, we know that growing your family is one of life’s biggest moments. That’s why we offer an enhanced Parental Leave program designed to give you the time and support you need — without added stress.
Employees who experience childbirth are eligible for up to 14-16 weeks of leave at 100% of salary. All other new parents receive 8 weeks of paid leave at 100% of salary, including both consecutive and flexible time away from work. This benefit supports bonding with your child through birth, adoption, foster care, or gestational surrogacy, with no waiting period required.
401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
JSSI’s retirement plan helps you save for the future with automatic enrollment at a 3% pre-tax contribution rate, placed in the default fund unless you choose otherwise. JSSI matches 75% of contributions up to 6% of eligible earnings, and you’re 100% vested in both your contributions and the company match from day one.
