Since 1989, JSSI has led innovation in business aviation. We’ve introduced the industry’s first alternative to manufacturer maintenance programs and pioneered coverage models for private aircraft. Today, we support over 30% of the global business jet fleet with hourly cost maintenance programs, maintenance tracking software, parts procurement, and financial tools.

We use a combination of phone, video, and onsite interviews to give candidates a well-rounded experience. Throughout the process, you may meet with recruiters, peers from your prospective team, department leaders, and at times members of our executive team.

Retirement Package

We all know the importance of saving for the future, and we help prepare for what’s ahead. To encourage our employees to plan for their retirement, JSSI provides an employer match to employee 401(K) contributions by matching 75% of employee contributions on up to 6% of eligible earnings.

Flexible Time Off

JSSI recognizes the importance of taking time off to maintain a healthy work-life balance. To support this, we offer a Flexible Time Off (FTO) policy, based on mutual trust, that allows employees to take the time they need for rest and rejuvenation without a set limit. We believe this approach fosters higher engagement and productivity.

This policy does not apply to hourly employees, temporary staff, interns, employees hired through third-party agencies, or employees outside the United States.

Hybrid Work

For team members based in our Chicago office, JSSI offers a hybrid work model that blends remote and in-office days. Employees are expected to be onsite three days per week to foster collaboration, maintain team cohesion, and support a consistent work rhythm.

Transportation

Our commuter benefits plan gives JSSI employees the opportunity to set aside pre-tax dollars to put towards parking and/or public transit when they travel to the office.

Parental Leave

JSSI is committed to supporting you during life’s big moments with our enhanced Parental Leave Policy. Employees who experience childbirth are eligible for 14-16 weeks of fully paid, job-protected leave. All other new parents receive 8 weeks of paid leave. The policy supports bonding with your child through birth, adoption, foster care, or gestational surrogacy.

Our Internship Program

The JSSI internship program provides dynamic opportunities for highly motivated students to grow, learn, and engage in a professional work environment. As part of your internship experience, we will provide projects and activities that develop business acumen and enable you to polish and challenge your skillsets. For more than a decade, we have offered internships within a variety of departments throughout the company to students from schools including Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Ohio State University, University of Michigan, University of Delaware, University of Wisconsin, and Purdue University. We have hired over 20 interns as full-time employees.
