CHICAGO, Oct. 13, 2023 – Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), the largest independent provider of maintenance support and financial services to the business aviation industry, today announced the appointment of Oscar Martinez as director of business development for Latin America (LATAM), and the appointments of Eric Borgstrom and Darwin Stout as business development managers, focused on the U.S. Midwest and West Coast territories, respectively.

Mr. Martinez brings a wealth of industry experience with more than 12 years in the field, including more than six as JSSI’s airframe and engine technical advisor in LATAM. With his proven success record and customer focused approach, Mr. Martinez naturally grew into his new role. Prior to working with JSSI, he served as director of maintenance at Taxi Aereo de México and head of maintenance at Aerolíneas Ejecutivas. Mr. Martinez holds an aeronautical engineering degree from the National Polytechnic Institute University in Mexico.
Prior to his new role with JSSI, Mr. Borgstrom advanced through the company from client relationship manager to leading the regional account management team. Through his tenure at JSSI, he has demonstrated outstanding service to JSSI clientele, securing a client retention rate of 91% while managing 230+ contracts. Mr. Borgstrom previously held roles at Air Spares Unlimited, Inc. where he led the expansion of Boeing Chapter 32 sales, and Coyote Logistics LLC, focused on business development. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
Mr. Stout has more than 30 years of aviation sales and technical experience. Prior to joining JSSI, he held leadership positions at Learjet Inc., Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, Embraer Executive Jets, Satcom Direct, and Bluetail Inc., with his most recent role as the regional sales director, aircraft management at Jet Aviation Flight Services Inc., managing the Pacific Northwest and Northern California U.S. territories. A current aircraft owner and instrument rated commercial pilot, Mr. Stout holds an A&P license with Inspection Authorization, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
Mr. Martinez will oversee JSSI sales activities in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Panama. Mr. Borgstrom will support sales activities in the U.S. Midwest and Southeast territories, including Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Mr. Stout will support sales activities in the U.S. West Coast territory, which includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming, supporting JSSI U.S. West Coast Director of Business Development, Manuel Ruanova.
