QuikTrip Aviation

Founded in 1958, QuikTrip is a privately-owned operator of more than 1,100 convenience stores across 10 states. Headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, QuikTrip is an $14 billion-dollar company with more than 20,000 employees. It also gives back to the communities that it serves, donating five percent of net profits to charitable organizations.

The company’s flight department, QuikTrip Aviation, owns and operates three Embraer Praetors, two Bell 429s, and one Bell 407. Some of these aircraft were migrated from a competing system to Traxxall. The others were enrolled with Traxxall upon delivery from the factory.

Ethan Pruitt is QuikTrip Aviation’s Manager of Aircraft Maintenance. He has been in this role since April 2018 and has more than 18 years of industry experience.

“As an organization, we are very good at flying efficient missions. For example, on a typical day, we might fly from Tulsa, to St. Louis, to Des Moines, to Kansas City and then back home. All along the way, our people are getting on and off the flight and we’re consistently operating close to our maximum capacity of eight passengers. For us, having our own flight department is a major competitive advantage.”
