At JSSI, our commitment to corporate social responsibility continues to soar in 2025.
The third quarter began with a stormy start in July, as devastating floods swept through Texas. In response, JSSI quickly rallied behind affected communities by supporting the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Meeting urgent needs in times of crisis remains a cornerstone of our CSR efforts, alongside our ongoing dedication to long-term impact.
That same month, we were honored to support the Triple Bypass Bike Ride in Colorado, trailing 118 miles at 10,800+ ft elevation, raising awareness and funds for the Epilepsy Foundation of Chicago, a powerful reminder of how endurance and empathy go hand in hand.
In September, we partnered with Green City Market to support Chicago’s premier local food festival, Chef BBQ. The event brought together over 100 of the city’s top restaurants, brewers, winemakers, and mixologists in celebration of sustainable farming, food education, and equitable access to locally grown produce. Later that month, we joined Adler Planetarium’s Celestial Bash – a future-focused gathering that champions Adler’s nearly century-old mission to connect people to the universe and to each other.
Our commitment to the future of Business Aviation remained front and center this quarter through meaningful engagement with the next generation. In July, we inspired hundreds of Chicago youth at the AviNation Summer Program, introducing pathways into the world of aviation and mentoring young kids with big aspirations. In South Florida, our ongoing partnership with Girls in Aviation continued with a series of September events across Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach. More than 1,500 students participated in immersive STEM experiences, including aircraft displays, flight simulators, mentorship opportunities, and hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and confidence.
We also proudly partnered with Aviation Influence’s “Take FLIGHT with AVi” event in late September, which welcomed over 1,100 children, parents, and community members to explore STEAM and aviation through dynamic outreach.
Local schools remain a vital part of our community engagement. In September, JSSI employees welcomed students from San Miguel School in Chicago for an office tour and introduction to business aviation and various career paths. The highlight? A basketball clinic held on our office court – inspiring mentorship and movement.
Finally, we’re proud to continue our partnership with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School through its Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP). This initiative empowers students to earn part of their tuition while gaining real-world experience. In September, we welcomed a Cristo Rey student to work one day a week at JSSI for a full year of exposure to mentorship and career exploration.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to launch new initiatives that deepen our community engagement and create lasting impact. JSSI is proud to be a force for good — today and into the future.
