COMMITTED TO SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS AVIATION

JSSI, for a better future

JSSI is committed to streamlining the path to reduced emissions and providing the tools aircraft owners and operators need to drive change towards a sustainable future for our planet and for our industry.

DRIVING AVIATION SUSTAINABILITY FORWARD

Corporate Social Responsibility

Committed to positive impact.

We strive to create a lasting and positive impact through five enduring pillars: business aviation sustainability, empowering communities, nurturing young minds, honoring our heroes, and shaping the next generation of business aviation.
Through strategic partnerships, meaningful programs, and sustained investment in these pillars, we aim to expand opportunity, celebrate service, and inspire future aviation leaders around the world.

Helping Our Clients Take Action

We are proud to team up with Avfuel to provide highly efficient and effective solutions for our customers, including streamlining carbon offsetting through high-impact and high-quality projects, and investing in access to and distribution of Sustainable Aviation Fuel as an option to traditional Jet-A.

How the Program Works

Complete pathway for operators to measure, offset, and certify their aircraft emissions transparently and easily.

1. Calculate Your Jet Emissions

Now it’s easier than ever to estimate your aircraft’s carbon emissions, and what it would cost to offset these emissions. Estimate your emissions for free with the Conklin CO2 Calculator.

2. Streamline Carbon Offsetting

JSSI Maintenance Program clients can purchase carbon credits through the directly within the MyJSSI client portal. Each carbon credit purchased will offset approximately 100 gallons of jet fuel. Credits will be invested in one of several greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation projects.

All GHG mitigation projects meet the strict requirements of either Gold StandardVerra, or American Carbon Registry to ensure full levels of due diligence and compliance. This means each carbon credit investment is certified to be genuine and ultimately feeds directly into the environmental project for full impact.

3. Fuel the change

A major advantage of SAF is that it can be blended directly with conventional jet fuel, enabling use within today’s aircraft and fueling infrastructure without modification. This compatibility allows operators to make immediate progress toward decarbonization.

Avfuel has partnered with Neste, a leading provider of renewable and circular solutions, to widen industry access to Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Depending on your geographic location, you can purchase SAF directly for your aircraft or via Avfuel’s book and claim model using Avfuel’s SAF tool. Look for FBOs marked with a green leaf!

JSSI is committed to doing good while doing well by making corporate social responsibility a core part of how we lead in business aviation.

Giving Aircraft Parts More Life

At JSSI, we approach aircraft and component teardowns with responsibility and purpose. Through structured disassembly programs and certified use of serviceable material, we extend the useful life of critical assets, reduce waste, and lessen the environmental impact associated with manufacturing new parts.
Every candidate component is inspected, tested, and fully documented. Only parts that meet strict regulatory and quality standards are released as USM. With aligned partners and disciplined quality processes, we recover high value components and return airworthy material to service in a safe, traceable, and economical manner.
To date, JSSI has completed more than 50 business aircraft teardowns, reinvesting in hard-to-find inventory and critical component overhauls. This not only helps ease supply chain constraints, but it also supports a more circular and resource conscious model for the operational fleet.

Making SAF More Sustainable

JSSI has invested in Air Company, a carbon conversion technology leader pioneering sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) made directly from CO₂. JSSI’s investment is helping accelerate engineering and R&D efforts to scale production of AIRMADE® SAF, a fully formulated, CO₂-derived solution. This investment supports advancements that promote energy security, reduce emissions, and drive adoption of clean fuels across aviation and beyond.

Cleaner Business Travel

As part of our commitment to sustainability, JSSI offsets the carbon emissions from employee business air travel through our own carbon credit program.
